Louise Cameron
Louise joined ICTS in April 1999, beginning her career as a Security Agent for ICTS’ American Airlines contract at Glasgow Airport. Soon after, she travelled to Dallas, Texas, for an American Airlines Security Agent training course. The following year, she returned to Dallas for an American Airlines Lead Agent Course before heading to Rome, Italy, for an ICTS Supervisor Course. As a Supervisor, Louise collaborated with airline partners including Continental, US Airways, and multiple Canadian carriers. When ICTS was awarded the Hold Baggage Screening contract at Glasgow Airport, Louise undertook X-Ray training, gaining valuable expertise in Hold Baggage Screening procedures.
Alongside her work, Louise pursued a degree in Psychology and travelled to Belfast to complete an Aviation Security Managers course. In April 2014, she accepted a secondment as Operations Manager at Edinburgh Airport, a role that later became permanent. During her tenure, she successfully introduced American Airlines and Delta Air Lines to Edinburgh while supporting United Airlines’ continued growth.
In October 2018, Louise was appointed Regional Manager for Aviation in Scotland, overseeing operations at both Edinburgh and Glasgow Airports. A firm believer in continual professional development, Louise earned a Level 5 Management qualification from the Chartered Management Institute, completed a Master’s degree in Business Management in 2018, and achieved Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification in 2020. She has also been recognised with multiple accolades, including being shortlisted for the Business Woman of the Year award by the Association of Scottish Business Women in 2018 and 2019, and winning the ‘Professional of the Year’ award in 2021.
A career highlight for Louise came in 2019 when ICTS secured two major airport contracts in Scotland, resulting in the successful integration of approximately 350 staff into the company—a milestone she considers her proudest achievement.
In September 2024, Louise advanced to the role of Sales & Marketing Director, expanding her leadership responsibilities and focusing on driving growth and innovation. Reflecting her commitment to continual development, Louise completed a CIPD Level 5 qualification in People Management in January 2025. Her dedication to growth and learning remains at the core of her career, ensuring she stays at the forefront of industry standards.
