Explosives Detection

Explosives Detection

In response to the ever-increasing threat of terrorism, ICTS provides explosives search services (sniffer dogs) through the deployment of highly trained handlers and their dogs. This type of deployment is a trusted and proven method of locating explosives in a wide range of environments, from vehicle and cargo screening to systematic building searches.

The presence of our teams provides a high-profile deterrent, delivering reassurance to the general public, especially in times of heightened security.

Drugs Detection

Drugs Detection

The deployment of drug detection dogs, both proactive (buildings, areas and vehicles) and passive (for screening of people) offers clients a high-profile solution to drug misuse.

ICTS works in partnership with educational establishments, event organisers, drug action teams, town centre safety managers, HR Departments and Police authorities.

Currency & Firearm Detection

Currency & Firearm Detection

ICTS mirrors NPCC standards. In order to do this, all ICTS drug dogs are trained to detect firearms and large amounts of currencies. This is the model which all UK Police forces adopt and enables ICTS to support the Police in various controlled environments where cash, firearms and contraband may be present.

Patrol Services

Patrol Services

We provide highly trained teams of handlers and dogs to protect a range of premises. The traditional security patrol dog remains an effective deterrent to intruders. We offer a bespoke service to ensure the optimum protection of client assets by providing professional teams to complement or replace existing security measures. These services range from one-off events to short or long-term contracts.

We are a leading provider of highly-trained handlers and detection dogs for private and public operations.

Canine detection services are widely recognised as a rapidly emerging resource within the security community. With an ability to effectively detect the smallest traces of explosives or contraband, easily deployable in any environment and delivering a proven increase in customer satisfaction and reassurance, canine detection teams are now widely utilised.

All ICTS dogs and handlers are trained and accredited to National Police Chiefs Council (NPCC) standards, HABC level 4 or both. Both handler and dog are certified as a team and live together. They undergo monthly continued training, attend two Police refresher courses and are accredited every six months at a Regional Police Dog Training School to NPCC standards. All our handlers receive regular on-site training by ICTS' in-house NPCC instructors and are regularly tested by outside assessors.

Each handler has two dogs, which ensures maximum cost-effectiveness and enables business continuity.
