Louise joined ICTS in April 1999, recruited as a Security Agent for ICTS’ American Airlines contract at Glasgow Airport. Soon after joining, Louise flew to Dallas, Texas for an American Airlines Security Agent training course. The following year Louise returned to Dallas for an American Airlines Lead Agent Course before heading to Rome, Italy the next year for an ICTS Supervisor Course. As a Supervisor she worked with a number of our airline partners including, the then Continental, US Airways and a number of Canadian carriers. When ICTS was awarded the Hold Baggage Screening contract at Glasgow Airport, Louise undertook X-Ray training and gained invaluable experience of Hold Baggage Screening procedures.
In her spare time Louise undertook a Psychology degree and travelled to Belfast to complete an Aviation Security Managers course before taking up a secondment at Edinburgh Airport, as Operations Manager in April 2014. This position became permanent and Louise successfully welcomed American Airlines and Delta Air Lines to Edinburgh while working with United Airlines to facilitate their continued growth in Edinburgh.
In October 2018 Louise was appointed as ICTS’ Regional Manager for Aviation in Scotland and took over the running of both Edinburgh and Glasgow Airports. Louise, a mother of four, remained committed to her continuing personal development and attended a Level 5 Management Course with the Chartered Management Institute, gained a Masters degree in Business Management in 2018, and became a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt in 2020. In both 2018 and 2019 Louise was shortlisted in the Business Woman of the Year category by the Association of Scottish Business Women.
In 2019 ICTS won two Airport contracts in Scotland, which saw approximately 350 staff join ICTS. This to date, has been Louise’s proudest moment in her career with ICTS.
Louise is a valued member of Team ICTS. Her career, which she describes as “fun, challenging and interesting on a daily basis”, reflects her dedication and drive.
